Integrated Facility Security Systems Installation & Management – March ‘2025

An Integrated Security System (ISS) is a comprehensive security platform designed to deliver multi-layered protection, encompassing intrusion detection at the field device, network, and control system levels. Its primary objectives are to reliably detect intruders and unauthorized activities while deterring and delaying them until an effective response can be initiated. Key components of an ISS include image capture and presentation through CCTV cameras, recorders, and video monitors, as well as Access Control Systems (ACS) that regulate staff and vehicle entry to restricted areas using magnetic cards, readers, and sensors.

This training program focuses on three critical Facility Security Systems Installation areas: IP-Based CCTV Installation, Streaming & Management; Biometric Access Control & Management; and GSM-Controlled Certified Burglar & Intruder Alarm Installation. Participants will gain hands-on expertise in CCTV installation, configuration, and maintenance, as well as the skills to design, install, and manage advanced biometric access control systems. Additionally, the course covers the installation of GSM-controlled burglar alarms, catering to both beginners and experienced professionals.

HikVision products, widely used in commercial, industrial, public, and residential properties globally, play a central role in this training. Their systems are not only prevalent in Kenya but also internationally, making the skills acquired highly transferable. This collaboration with HikVision Technologies ensures that trainees are equipped with the knowledge and practical experience needed to excel in the fields of CCTV and access control installation and integration.

CCTV Control Room Operation, Monitoring & Management Training- June, 2025

Monitoring Techniques

Effective surveillance is the cornerstone of a well-functioning CCTV system. In this module, learners will explore advanced monitoring techniques to enhance their ability to detect and respond to incidents in real-time. The course will cover strategies for maintaining a high level of vigilance, including the use of systematic scanning patterns and the identification of suspicious behaviors.

Participants will also learn about incident detection protocols, ensuring they can quickly and accurately assess situations as they unfold. This includes understanding the importance of timely communication with relevant authorities and the proper documentation of incidents for investigative purposes.

Additionally, the module will emphasize the critical role of evidence collection, teaching learners how to capture, store, and present CCTV footage in a manner that adheres to legal standards. By the end of this section, students will be equipped with the skills to not only monitor activities effectively but also to act decisively and ethically in response to incidents, ensuring the security and safety of the areas under surveillance.

This training is designed to bridge the gap between technology and practical application, empowering operators to maximize the effectiveness of CCTV systems while maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards
